Strategies used in Learning English Reading Comprehension among Students at Vocational College

English has long been recognized as a worldwide language. is also regarded one of the most essential educational goals at colleges and universities in Vietnam. It vital to teach students how enhance their reading comprehension skills well deal with potential problems that may arise throughout EFL learning process future. As result, purpose this study was investigate non-English majored students’ perceptions strategies vocational college Ho Chi Minh City, The included 123 non-English-majoring who were studying college. Two instruments, questionnaire, an interview, used collect both quantitative qualitative data. Descriptive statistics content analysis analyze acquired study's findings revealed employ metacognitive more frequently when comprehension, than half use cognitive very often. presented many recommendations for teachers, goal making little contribution teaching This research will offer information on execution college’s environment other similar contexts.
